The role of e-commerce in improving the welfare of Iranian people

Abstract :
S.H.ghavami S.A.R. Shirzadi Abstract One of the most important opportunities to facilitate trade and increase competition in the world is the use of new information and communication technology. E-commerce as the most important product and product of these new technologies can provide a good opportunity for countries in domestic and international exchanges. Today, with the ever-increasing progress and the significant growth of modern communication tools and technologies and the replacement of many traditional activities in the trade sector, the movement from traditional trade to new (electronic) trade has begun. On the other hand, increase well-being one of the most important inclinations that mankind has always sought. So that one of the basic principles of economics is increasing welfare in the form of increasing people's desirability. Therefore, it is important to examine the impact and relationship between electronic commerce as one of the new technology facilities and the well-being of people in a society. In this regard, this study examines the effect of electronic commerce on people's welfare (social level, economic level, and emotional level) or, in other words, it seeks to answer the question of whether Does e-commerce impact people's welfare? The research hypothesis is that e-commerce has a meaningful impact on people's well-being. The statistical population of the research includes university professors, experts and experts in the field of e-commerce in Allameh Tabatabai University, due to the limited statistical population, 70 people were selected by complete sampling method. In order to collect data, a researcher-made questionnaire and to evaluate the research model, the structural equation modeling technique of Smart PLS software was used. The results of the research showed that e-commerce has an effect on economic well-being with a path coefficient of 0.97 and a t-statistic of 194.48, on social well-being with a path coefficient of 0.98 and a t-value of 490.42, and on emotional well-being with a path coefficient of 0.96 and a t-statistic of 0.96. 191.07 has a meaningful impact and the greatest impact of e-commerce is on the social welfare of people, and in a significant case, the greatest impact of e-commerce is on social welfare, so, the research results have confirmed the research hypothesis. Therefore, the recommendation of the research is that based on the findings of the research, the government should provide services to citizens from e-commerce revenues so that they feel more satisfied with lives and take measures to improve living standards and well-being.
