Abstract :
Shahab Razban Sahar Kousari Mohammad Reza Sanaei Abstract Digital and Internet revolution in the third millennium has created the necessity for all business owners and natural and legal persons to think about creating and developing their business in the digital field and the Internet platform. The main aim of the present study was an Analysis of platform business models, recent development, and future research. The research method is a review and library-based approach, based on reviewing documents and articles related to the subject. Reviewing the literature, background, and existing models shows the shortcomings that make them unable to solve our problem. Most of the conducted research and presented models are suitable for offline businesses. The small number of qualitative studies to explore as many issues as possible is one of the factors to consider in this field. Most of the studies carried out in the field of business models with a quantitative approach have investigated the relationship between variables to prove hypotheses or review theories in a scientific and promotional way. Another noteworthy point is the inclusion of cultural issues in research. The cultural differences of different societies are effective in their approach to the research topic and how and how much they accept new models. For this reason, it is necessary to expand the research by including cultural issues and demographic variables. This article has tried to compare the studies conducted abroad and inside the country, and provide strategic suggestions to find the optimal business model to overcome the deficiencies in the traditional models.
