Abstract :
The present study was conducted with the aim of validating a professional development model for elementary school teachers in East Azerbaijan. The method of the present study is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-survey based on the nature of the data. In the quantitative part, the statistical environment of the study included all elementary school teachers in East Azerbaijan, approximately 3,500 people. In order to estimate the required sample size in the quantitative part of the study, approximately 350 samples were selected using the Cochran formula. And the samples were selected using stratified random sampling. Interview and questionnaire tools were used to collect data in the present study. The validity and reliability of the tools were examined and confirmed. In the quantitative part, in the inferential part, tests such as Pearson correlation, one-sample t-test, structural equation modeling (confirmatory factor analysis) were also used to answer the research questions using SPSS-v21 and Lisrel-v8.8 software. The results of factor analysis showed that 18 main components were identified from 120 existing indicators (items). Accordingly, the components of knowledge, skills, and attitude were identified as constituent factors, and the factors of educational technologies and personal competencies and contextual factors were identified as effective factors.
