The present study investigates the effect of talent management on meritocracy: by explaining the mediating role of organizational factors (organizational memory - organizational strategy - organizational intelligence - knowledge management - organizational development). This research has been applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-survey. The statistical population of the study was the managers of 124 electricity distribution companies. The sample size was determined according to Krejcie and Morgan table of 94 people and simple random sampling method was used for sampling. Data analysis was performed by structural equation method with Smart PLS software. Talent management has a significant effect on meritocracy and organizational factors. Organizational factors have a significant impact on meritocracy. The findings also confirmed the mediating role of organizational factors in the relationship between talent management and meritocracy.
