The growing importance of investing in education has been around since the 1960s. Numerous studies show that from this period onwards, educational investment in different educational levels has entered the production function as one of the effective inputs along with physical capital. Leading research uses data from 30 provinces of the country in the period 2007 to 2017 to evaluate the effect of preschool education on economic growth in Iran. Evaluation of educational effects at different levels of education has always been one of the main concerns of policymakers and economic elites in different countries. However, domestic research has not provided evidence and results of compatibility in Iran. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of preschool education on economic growth in Iran. Information and statistical data of this study have been extracted from household budget data of Statistics Center of Iran, Central Bank and World Bank for the period 2007 to 2017. Experimental findings show that investing in pre-school, primary and higher education has a positive and significant effect on the economic growth of Iranian provinces. Considering the results, it can be concluded that investing in pre-school and primary education is more important than high school. And it is necessary for the political and economic leaders of the country to believe that paying attention to efficient and correct education from the very beginning is the primary pillar of training efficient human resources, for which more attention should be paid to strategic and long-term investments. In the model of Knowledge-Based production, knowledge and innovation are the most important factors of production; therefore, knowledge and innovation are the main keys to economic growth and development. The process of production of knowledge and innovation require groundwork making; This paper examines the effect of three factors, research and development expenditures, and education expenditures also the infrastructure of information and communication technology, on the production of knowledge and innovation. The purpose is to identify the path to realization of the knowledge-based economy in order to policy making for its realization in the Iranian economy. The extent of patents is considered as an indicator for producing knowledge and innovation. The countries under this study are 23 OECD member selected countries. For modeling, panel data method in Eviews software is used. Finding a positive and meaningful relationship between the three variables of research and development expenditure, training and technology infrastructure with the amount of patents, is the result of this research. The results of the calculations show that these three factors are very important in the process of producing knowledge and innovation, such that the lack of attention to them will actually lead the production of knowledge and innovation to the serious obstacles. Also, the comparison between the descriptive charts of the data for these three variables for Iran and the selected countries suggests that it would not be desirable in Iran. Manuscript profile

Sirous mahmoudi Abstract The present research has been conducted with a view to studying the status of parameters of economic education in the humanities curriculum at high schools. The research is descriptive and content analysis-based. The population chosen for the research comprises all textbooks taught at high school. Using targeted sampling method. Six subjects (Religion and Life, Sociology, Economics, Entrepreneurship Workshop, Social Identity and Geography), including 12 volumes of books, have been chosen as sample. The unit of analysis was content and image. The measuring too was the content analysis checklist designed by researcher, whose validity experts have endorsed and whose reliability has been calculated at 93% by William Scott’s method. Data processing has been done by the Shannon entropy. The main findings of the research indicate that in the high school humanities curriculum, “emphasis on importance of job, occupation and entrepreneurship” with a frequency distribution of 547 (55.7%) and “participation and cooperation” with a frequency distribution of 75 (7.6%) were the most frequent and “importance and value of endeavor and effort” with a frequency distribution of 5 (0.5%) and “legitimate and licit income” with a frequency distribution of 8 (0.8%) were the least frequent parameters. In terms of coefficient of importance, “fighting economic poverty” and “knowledge of economic precepts in Islam” with the coefficients of respectively 0.1.01 and 0.098 were the most important and “knowledge of the concept of inflation” and “participation and cooperation” with the coefficients of respectively 0.011 and 0.013 with were the least important parameters.
